Children’s Restoration Network (CRN) honored Atlanta-based company The Newsletter Factory on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at its annual Celebrate the Children Ball and Silent Auction to benefit CRN’s 10th Annual Back-2-School Program for homeless children.

The Newsletter Factory has donated editorial, graphic design, proofreading, and production services for “A Helping Hand”, CRN’s newsletter, for more than six years. CRN awarded The Newsletter Factory President Tondra Hughes with a plaque commemorating the company’s many years of pro-bono service. “We enjoy working with CRN’s founders Jim Cox and Cliff Kinsey. Each of us at The Newsletter Factory believes in helping to give homeless mothers and children a chance to improve their quality of life. CRN helps disadvantaged children do well in school by annually providing more than 2,500 book bags filled with donated school supplies to children who may otherwise not have tools needed to start school prepared; sponsoring a tutor program which gives these children personal attention many need to improve their grades; and boosting moral at Christmas and Easter with toys and special parties to help them not feel left out during the holidays”, said Hughes.

“I encourage anyone with a love for children to learn more about CRN and the multitude of ways they strengthen our community. You can visit www.childrn.org or contact one of us at www.nlf.com to find ways to get involved in this worthy cause”, said The Newsletter Factory Art Director Kyle Sox (pictured at the gala event).
